Established in 1996 as a proud member of the Sarana Steel Group (founded in 1970), PT Saranacentral Bajatama, Tbk (SCB) has built a formidable reputation in the global steel industry.

We began our journey by producing premium Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Sheets, utilizing advanced Non-Oxidation Furnace (NOF) technology to differentiate ourselves from conventional processing systems. This allowed us to deliver superior quality materials essential for the construction, electrical, and automotive sectors.

Driven by a commitment to continuous improvement, we achieved a major milestone in 2010 with the launch of SARANALUME®—our high-performance 55% Aluminum-Zinc alloy coated steel. Recognizing the market’s need for aesthetic versatility combined with structural integrity, we subsequently introduced our premium prepainted steel, SARANACOLOR®.

Today, SCB stands proudly as the only local manufacturer in Indonesia capable of producing all three distinct types of coated steel: Galvanized, Aluminum-Zinc (SARANALUME®), and Painted Steel (SARANACOLOR®).
